PC-3000 Flash, new version 3.0.4
1. Added algorithms.
- We added Translator of type 19 [SM267BB] which is used in SD. We created detection of algorithm and autodetection of parameters.
- We added analysis method of Block number Type 9 [0x4001] which is used for USBest UT165-L48 controllers. We created the detection of algorithm and autodetection of parameters.
2. Improvements in algorithms.
There are considerable improvements in version 3.0.4! We have enhanced the work of modes for search and autodetection to a great extent. Their effectiveness and authenticity are increased.
The existing methods are added by the new possibilities, which are based on the absolutely different methods and principles of data extracting before analysis. Comprehensive method in combination with optimised algorithms for decision making allows you to detect task parameters and to do data recovery automatically in the extremely complicated cases.
2.1. We have implemented the System of block versions.
The Systems of block versions allows you correct the built image at your will.
When building the resulting image, all blocks are fixed to the shift, if during the work of the algorithm it was recognised that they were potentially related to that shift.
The most authentic one from them is used by default.
If while searching the result which had been already built, it is detected that one or another block is selected inappropriately or has damaged data, you have the possibility to overview the other blocks which can potentially exist on this displacement. It can be done with the help of specialised service. After it you can use the most suitable blocks.
If you need to change or to use one version of block, you need to choose the suitable menu item.
If you didn't add any of the block versions while building the result, you can manually add «Add version» on «Result of analysis» unit from the contextual menu.
2.2. We have added the support of error correction algorithms - ECC (Error Correction Code) in the completely automatic mode.
The version 3.0.4 of PC-3000 Flash has the added autodetection of ECC which could be applied to the particular task in the ECC algorithm and its parameters. Also we have added error correction. The number of the corrected errors are detected only by the power of the applied algorithm. The accounting and application of the possibilities of these algorithms allow to increase by several times the quality of the data recovered.
You can do the autodetection of the ECC type at any of the task unit (memory chip, the result of preliminary preparation, the result of the analysis). We also have made possible to do the autodetection and data correction by ECC algorithms on any of files or subjects of file systems (by its map).
The results of the correcting algorithm are recorded in the result map, and may be subsequently selected for the study.
If the ECC algorithm and its parameters are successfully identified, so you are allowed to correct the data.
2.2.1. The example of the necessity to correct data using ECC algorithms (typical situation for graphic images, as an example).

2.3. «Read-only» Flag.
There is «Read-only» flag in dialog window when you create the task using the method of downloading the external file. This is needed in order to protect the original file from the possibled estructive user actions.
Important: When you need to apply the correction mode, you must remove the flag from all chips of the task.
If you don't do it when you make the first correction, the process will stop and you will see the error message.
If you need to check the flag status and/or to remove it, you can do it from the context menu of memory microchips.
2.4. Preparation of data for analysis. Changing the format of the page.
We have added the «Page size transformation» method to the group of methods for data preparation before analisys.
We have considerably revised the Page transformation system in the version 3.0.4. of PC-3000 Flash hardware-software.
The mode offers you two ways of page transformation:
- to choose from the transformations pre-imposed into the PC-3000 Flash ;
- to specify the page transformation independently (mode equipped with a master).
2.6. Development of «Raw recovery» mode.
The «Raw recovery» mode is developed to a great extent. Now it is possible not only to recover much more files, but also to control their quality and integrity of the recovery.

3. New features in the interface.
3.1. We have added a "Research to convert within a page" method.
In many casess you may come across the situation when such data conversions as
- inbyte alternation
- non-standard page structure
- data inversion
are used simultaneously.
That is why methods which allow to determine availability of single types of such conversions become ineffective. The current method is a specialized solution of determination availability of complex conversions in the context of memory microchip page, which allows to get reliable decision in most cases.
3.2. We have added a method of preliminary preparation "Page size transformation".
3.3. We have implemented output in the protocol read identificator. If it is absent, you can add it to the database.
3.4. We have implemented a writing to any task result.
At any result, PC-3000 Flash allows you to change sector content both in user data area and in service area, and save these changes, using sector editor mode. (You need to remove "Reading Only" indicator from initial memory microchips).
3.5.Now it is possible to add several microchips with the same identificators into the database.
Sometimes microchips which have the same identificators have different protocol parameters.
To solve this problem PC-3000 Flash has now an opportunity to append copies of the identificators. At identification of such microchips the dialog window will be outputted for you to choose one of available variants.
3.6. In the new version for the result of analysis there is no need to save the result on which it was built. That means the origin result can be deleted.
3.7. When creating a task the order of the input capacity and the number of memory chips has beed changed.
The first recommended to specify the number of physical memory chips. Next, install one of the memory chip in the card reader, click to determine the capacity. The software will automatically detect the installed capacity of the memory and calculate the total capacity task in accordance with the specified number of chips.
3.8. We have removed from PC-3000 Flash software the data collection mode.
Collection of data for successful data recovery cases is fully replaced by the opportunities of «PC-3000 Flash Global Solution Center».
3.9. A lot of improvements in the automatic modes has been made to determine the presence and types of necessary conversions, which increased the speed of analysis and increase its reliability.
3.10. The possibility to enter the marking of the controller after the task creation has been added. When you export a solution it is very important as accurate as possible enter the marking of the controller!
3.11. In the new version for the result of analysis there is no need to save the result which it was built on. That means the source result can be deleted.
3.12. Solution file (*.SOL) generation mode has been added.
Possibility to export / import a sequence of actions and their parameters to the solution file has been added. This file can then be used to recover the data from a similar task.
Solutions can be used as an aid to users of the PC-3000 Flash for the same or similar problems.
Saved solutions can be added to the "Global Solution Center" in the Internet.
4. Corrected errors.
- We have corrected error in CBM2091 algorithm realization, which made recovery at damaged service data impossible. We added the mode, which allows to recover completely damaged service structures.
- We have corrected the error of displaying the results of last sectors in service information mode.
- We have corrected error of personal translator creation based on one of result sectors. This error made impossible to close the window if block numbers were indicated incorrectly.
- We have corrected errors which appeared while cleaning "Memory Microchip" unit.
- We have corrected errors which appeared at "Analysis for PC-3000 Flash" performance.
- We have corrected errors concerned to data line saving at "Bitwise inverting" method performance.
