PC-3000 Flash ver. 2.1 (beta-version) - Modifications and enhancements
1. PC-3000 Flash Reader firmware updating.
Attention!
Version 2.1. requires modification of firmware.
Version 2.1. works incorrectly with the previous firmware.
The operation of reprogramming will be executed at the first use of the device.
It's prohibited to disconnect the USB cable in the process of programming!
You need to exactly follow to the instructions in program.
Please, pay special attention to the recommendations of the program to disconnect and connect the device after updating.
2. Hardware updating.
We appended hardware support of memory chips with random page size. Reading algorithms rate for known pages is optimized.
3. Support of new memory chips.
The information about new memory chips including memory chips supporting 8K page size is appended into PC-3000 Flash database.
4. Added algorithms.
- "Translator (Type 10) SM321QF AC" analysis method is appended. Parameters autodetection mode is developed.
- "Translator (Type 13) AU6986, AU6983" analysis method is appended. Parameters autodetection mode is developed.
- "Translator (Type 15) SK6211" analysis method is appended. Parameters autodetection mode is developed.
- "Translator (Type 5) SK6281" analysis method is enhanced. Parameters autodetection mode is improved.
- "Translator (Type 14) SM267LT" analysis method (used in SD memory chips) is appended. Parameters autodetection mode is developed.
- We increased validity of autodetection method of "Translator (Type 8) iCreate i5128-LG" algorithm.
We developed separate methods, namely:

— Translator (Type 11) AU6386
— Translator (type 12) AU6984
— Translator (Type 13) AU6983, AU6986
- "Translator SK6xxx" group methods:

- "Translator SMxxx" group methods:
— Translator (Type 6) SM321QF BB
— Translator (Type 7) SM324QF BC
— Translator (Type 9) SM325QF AB
— Translator (Type 10) SM321QF AC
— Translator (Type 14) SM267LT
Detection, analysis and image building algorithms, which allow to enhance data recovery quality both in manual and automatic modes, are considerably improved and unified for these algorithms.
5. Additions in interface.
- Now it is possible to make a shift in a line in conversion graph by pressing hot keys "Ctrl + ?","Ctrl + ?". It is also possible to extract some results and make their synchronized shift by pressing the same buttons.
- Verification status while reading is introduced now. You may find now available data about total number of verification errors and number of errors which were not corrected. These data are displayed in mode information line at fixed option "Autoverification" of memory chip reading process. It allows to estimate the quality of readable data while reading process.
- Now it is possible to edit conversion parameters in "Conversion Graph" for "Blocks partition", "Blocks Combination" and "Bit invertion" methods. This option is available from context menu of graph line, point "Edit". At the same time the parameters are applied immediately without conversion tree rebuilding.
- The information which is entered when you create task is available in the task itself. Dialogue window button is placed on control board.
6. Corrected errors.
- Formula presentation error, which appeared while entering description of pages of complex configuration, is corrected.
- The errors, which appeared while clearing memory chip and closing the task at unread microchips, are corrected.
- The error which appeared while "Additional modifications availability checking" research method performance is corrected. This error caused inefficient method with complex modifications.
- The error while complex research method launching from 'Conversion graph' is corrected.
