What is it - Flash recovery?






WHAT IS FLASH DISK DATA RECOVERY ALL ABOUT?




Everybody got used to mobile phones, digital cameras, usb-stick drives and many other mobile devices. They help us to listen to the music, keep our documents, pictures and our other personal data. Almost all of these devices use small flash memory chips, called NAND chips.
These chips have low cost, they are flexible and their size is small - so its no surprise they are oftener and more widely used. Mobility is the synonym of the modern world, but how can we imagine the mobility without mobile devices?



The more capacity flash drive has - the more data can be stored on it. The more data can be stored on the drive the more valuable are the data. That's why Flash data recovery technologies have grown and become more and more important nowadays. Flash drive internal structure is quite complicated and its data recovery process is really complicated. However, there is a tool that can analyze each flash data recovery case using semi-automatic methods to recover the data from it. This is PC-3000 Flash.



Flash drive has memory chips and a controller. Controller writes and reads the data from memory chips in a special order, that is called "Data Mix". Each flash drive vendor has its own controller and its own type of Data Mix.
In the most flash data recovery cases flash drive has damaged controller and mostly undamaged memory chip. PC-3000 Flash utility allows to read the data directly from memory chip and reconstruct it.


In general, we can divide the reasons why the user data can be inaccessible into two types.



Flash Memory Drive Damages
  
logical damages of the drive, at which the drive is physically detected in the system at the usual connection, but it has the damages which prevent the access to the user data by the standard ways of the operation system. In this case, you can use all logical instruments of PC-3000 Flash suite or Data Extractor UDMA to recover data.

physical damages of the drive or service area damages, which cause impossible access to the contents of flash-memory microchips. This type of damages is more popular than the first type. To recover data in such cases, we've developed PC-3000 Flash suite.
